However, new competitive developments from journals like América Economía, Business News Americas, and Estrategia Negocios prompted him to reassess his position.
LatinoVision had quickly become a category leader, but was now perceived as out-dated. The existing LationVision identity was no longer an optimal reflection of the bilingual news leader that it is. The essence of LatinoVision had to be re-branded and communicated through a new visual online identity.
FinanzasUSA, or FUSA for short, emerged. The new brandmark symbol is rich in meaning. The ascending bar curve evokes a confluence of optimism, finance, and forward movement. The look and feel of the system - which is also extended to the website - facilitates a broad, bold, authoritative expression through dramatic color, grids, and declarative type.
To help keep FinanzasUSA up to date in the most economical way possible, Green Egg Media created a custom back-end solution to meet the exacting needs of the front-end. Built on the CodeIgniter PHP framework, the back-end creates an easy and structured workflow for categorizing and featuring posts as well as cropping images. This framework helps to make sure that FUSA content stays fresh.
